French basketball star, Tony Parker has admitted that he has had a hard time adjusting to his life without Longoria, now that his divorce with the Desperate Housewives’ star has been finalized.

"[Divorce] was hard," Parker told French radio station, Europe 1, according to UsMagazine.

The 28-year-old French basketball star also told the radio station that he has learned a great deal about life and that he is trying to make the best of it.

Parker said, "Like anyone else, I've learned that life is full of experiences, and you learn from your mistakes and go on."

The star for San Antonio Spurs added that he has now turned to his sports as his coping mechanism in the post-separation ordeal. The basketball court according to Parker, noted UsMagazine serves as his ‘escape’.

He clarified that though it was tough for him, he was not about to wallow about his married life and feel sorry for himself. Ex-wife Eva Longoria has now been recently reported to ‘move on’ with Eduardo Cruz.

For his part, Parker said that aside from his game, he has family and friends to thank as he goes through the difficulties in divorce.

"I've been really lucky in life," he said. "I've got super family, friends – that's what's most important. When you look around with what's going on in the world – with sick children, people in real difficulties – I have no right to complain," Parker was quoted saying by US magazine.

Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Tony Parker late last year when news about Parker’s cheating on the actress came out in November. Parker was reportedly exchanging ‘romantic’ text messages with the wife of Brent Barry, the NBA star's former teammate at San Antonio Spurs.
