Parkway Drive won Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album for Deep Blue, at the inaugural Australia Records Industry Award (ARIA) held in a Sydney concert last night. Djan Djan won Best World Music Album while Best Music DVD award went to the Sound Relief DVD.

The announcement was made during a concert held in Sydney's Botanic Gardens, which is part of iTunes Live: ARIA Awards Concert Series 2010.

Each concert features performances by 10 acts spread over five nights. The 2010 ARIA Award winners in 16 genres are also announced during the concerts with special performances by five 2010 ARIA Award nominees and special guests.

iTunes Live: ARIA Awards Concert Series 2010 also launched a free application for iPhone, iPod and iPad to allow Australians to watch the exclusive performances of nominees in the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).
