Even as the Australian economy sheds more than 22,000 full time jobs, the Australian labour market posted a rise in part-time jobs. The Australian Bureau of Statistics reported that 29, 800 Australians are now in part-time employment.
According to Hire Me Up co-founder Fiona Anson, approximately a third of working Australians are currently seeking part time work instead of full time work. Anson noted that many sectors are moving towards part-time employment as people search for more "work-life balance."

Admittedly, this part-time employment requires knowledge in bookkeeping, and is therefore, not for everyone. It's an advantage if you are in the business itself. Many accounting firms offer part-time bookkeeping for small business clients who can not afford to hire a full-time bookeeper.
You can also start your career as a freelance bookkeeper, and take on clients that suits the part-time hours.

The Australian currency is the fifth most traded currency in the foreign exchange markets, which comprises about twenty-percent of the trading round the world.
