An arrest has been made on the suspicion of stealing parts from the Porsche Carrera GT wreckage that took Paul Walker's life on Saturday. Another suspect is being sought by the agencies.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department revealed late Thursday that they had caught a man named Jameson Witty at his home in California's Tujunga. The arrest of the second man in the act is still pending and the authorities are looking for him.

The wreckage and parts of the Porsche were loaded onto a truck. It carried the wreckage away around 10 p.m. nearly seven hours after the collision happened. The parts of the car were being taken for further investigation by the authorities. Apparently, the driver reported that the truck was followed by numerous vehicles as soon as he left the crash area, reported by Entertainment Weekly.

The truck stopped at a busy intersection in the middle of the town of Santa Clarita and the driver saw a man from one of the trailing cars come out and run up to the remains of the car. He later left with a part of the car.

T-top roof panel of the ill-fated Porsche GT Carerra was stolen. Later, detectives recovered the part in Canyon Country in Northern Los Angeles County near Santa Clarita.

A 25-year-old is reportedly the second suspect who was not identified by the Sheriff's department. The trouble is that the suspect is no longer in California. Yet, detectives and the suspect are in contact and surrender arrangements are being made.

Jameson was held at Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station on suspicion of tampering with the evidence and felony grand theft. The bail is set at $20,000. The department is seeking similar charges against the second suspect.

On Saturday, Paul Walker, 40 and Roger Rodas, 38 died in a fast car crash collision.
