Two showbiz deaths and one royal birth are Australia's top Google searches of the year. The end of the year is just around the corner and to wrap up this year, the three top Google searches in Australia are the tragic death of "The Fast and the Furious" actor Paul Walker and "Glee's" Cory Monteith and, of course, the royal birth of Prince George.

The 40-year-old blue-eyed actor's death was the latest news that went trending in all corners of World Wide Web, and not just his tragic death but the fate of the "The Fast and the Furious 7" where the actor is currently filming. At the time of his accident, the actor was hosting a fundraising for typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines for his charity organization Reach Out Worldwide.

Another showbiz death rocked the entertainment industry when Cory Monteith died on July 13 due to drug overdose. The Canadian actor's death is the second top trending search of the year mainly because his character on "Glee" made a huge impact in the youth of today. Monteith died at the age of 31.

But when there is death, there is also a celebration of birth and this time the whole world celebrates as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomes their first born, Prince George. The new prince was born on July 22, just 9 days after Monteith's death. The prince is the third in line to succeed his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

After the three celebrities, the iPhone 5s stole the show when it was released in September. Apple's flagship smartphone became the talk of the town, and after it was released, it seemed Australians just can't get enough of it.

North Korea placed fifth on the top searches. The acronym for Rural Fire Service, RFS, is in the sixth place due to numerous bush fires that ravaged some parts of NSW in September and October.

September 2013 is election time in Australia and because of that the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is on the seventh spot. The final three spots belongs to the popular TV shows "The Block," "My Kitchen Rules" and "House Rules," respectively.
