Hollywood star Vin Diesel and rapper Ludacris have all paid tribute to fellow Fast & Furious star Paul Walker, who died in a car accident on Saturday evening in Southern California.

Diesel, who has been Walker's co-star in almost all Fast & Furious movies, posted on his Instagram account a picture of himself with Walker to remember the time he had with his good friend.

"Brother I will miss you very much," Diesel wrote to accompany the pic. "I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace."

Diesel (Dominic Toretto) and Walker (Brian O'Conner) co-starred in four of six Fast & Furious films, which has already become Universal Studios' most successful film franchise of all time after grossing roughly $2.5 billion (as of October 2013).

Ludacris, who assumed the role Tej Parker in the second and the last two installments of the franchise, also expressed his sadness about the tragic event by uploading a photo that shows the casts of the Fast & Furious franchise.

"Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.," Ludacris stated.

Tyrese Gibson (Roman Peirce) and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (Luke Hobbs) also sent their message of condolence to Walker and his family, wishing his loved ones to stay strong despite this great loss.

"My heart is hurting so bad," he wrote. "No one can make me believe this is real. Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don't understand. My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real.... Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family... #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForever," Gibson said.

"All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength.. in his light. Love you brother," the Rock stated.

TMZ confirmed that Fast & Furious star passed away after sustaining critical wounds from a car accident in California. According to reports, the 40-year old Walker was a passenger in a friend's car (Porsche GT) and on his way to a charity event for Typhoon Haiyan victim in the Philippines.

The seventh installment of the Fast & Furious movie is set for release in July 2014.
