Paul Walker Death: Costars from Previous Films Tweet Messages about Him including Rachael Leigh Cook and James Van Der Beek [PHOTOS]
Paul Walker's tragic death on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 has left a lot of people shocked and reeling from the sad news which was so sudden and unexpected, especially because it happened after Thanksgiving and before the start of December. Walker was part of the hugely successful film franchise "Fast and Furious," along with costars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne "The Rock"' Johnson and Tyrese Gibson.
Walker and his businessman friend Roger Rodas of Always Evolving, died instantly when the car that they were riding, Rodas' red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, hit a tree and a light pole and then burst into flames in Santa Clarita, California. Rodas was reportedly driving his vehicle and Walker was sitting on the passenger seat beside him. Rodas was said to have lost control of the Porsche that's why they got into the accident. No word yet whether or not Rodas was intoxicated during the accident but it is reported that they were driving fast.
As an active and well-liked member of the Hollywood community, Walker's death came as a huge shock, especially to those who knew him and have worked with him not just on the "Fast and Furious" movies, but also on the other films he appeared in such as "She's All That," "Pleasantville," and "Varsity Blues."
Most of Walker's colleagues took to Twitter to express their shock, sadness, grief and condolences to Walker's loved ones.

Rachael Leigh Cook, Walker's costar from the 1999 film "She's All That" posted a message on her official Twitter account.

Matthew Lillard, another costar of Walker and Cook, could only manage to say a few words on Twitter.

Sarah Michelle Gellar of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," who also appeared on the said film and who is married to Freddie Prinze, Jr., the lead actor opposite Cook, wished Walker peace.

"Varsity Blues" (1999)
Meanwhile, James Van Der Beek of "Dawson's Creek," also expressed his sorrow via Twitter. He even tweeted two messages about Walker. Van Der Beek starred in the 1999 film "Varsity Blues" with Walker.

"Pleasantville" (1998)
Reese Witherspoon, who also appeared with Walker on the 1998 film "Pleasantville," talked about Walker in her official Twitter account.

"Tammy and the T-Rex" (1994)
Denise Richards, who costarred with Walker as star-crossed lovers in this 1994 film, is shocked and saddened about the devastating news.

Universal Pictures, the film studio behind the mega-hit franchise "Fast and Furious," also released a statement on Paul Walker's death.
Aside from Walker's costars in the said films, other stars also tweeted about him including Joshua Jackson ("The Skulls), Olivia Wilde ("The Death and Life of Bobby Z), Ryan Philippe (Flags of Our Fathers) and Jessica Alba ("Into the Blue).
Walker appeared in other films such as "The Lazarus Project," "Takers" and "Brokedown Palace." He was filming "Fast and Furious 7" before he died. "Hours," which is his latest movie, will be released posthumously. Walker, 40, has a daughter named Meadow Rain who is 15 years old. Meadow's mother is Rebecca McBrain.
