The American actor Paul Walker has finally been laid to rest on Saturday in a simple and private funeral service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California. Only Walker's family and some of his close friends attended the actor's interment.

The 40-year-old actor, along with his pal Roger Rodas, was killed in a fiery car crash on Nov. 30 in California. He was on a break from shooting the scenes for the seventh installment of the hit movie franchise "Fast and the Furious 7" when the heartbreaking accident happened.

Following his death, Universal Pictures announced that they will cancel the filming of "Fast and the Furious 7" to show support to Walker's immediate family. Now that the funeral services for the handsome actor is over, people are wondering who will replace his character in the movie.

Walker used to play the role of Brian O'Connor, who is one of the three lead protagonists, in the movie. His character has appeared in all six films but one. There have been rumours spreading over the Internet and other social media Web sites about Canadian teen heartthrob Justin Bieber replacing the late handsome actor, which made the fans of Walker enraged.

The rumour started after Ludacris reportedly endorsed Bieber to star in the much-anticipated seventh series of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.

The latest news is that Walker's "nearly identical" brother is a possible substitute. On Friday, Daily Mail has reported that Walker's younger brother Cody, who looks almost the same as him, is being considered to replace his role in the movie.

The reason why Cody's name came into the picture is simply because of the fact that he almost looks identical as the late actor. The producers thought that they have to find someone who looks like Paul to finish the movie.

"And that's when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody," the source close to the production team claimed. Furthermore, the source revealed that that the producers of the hit movie franchise have been in and out of numerous meetings following the actor's death trying to discuss the best way that they could work out Walker's absence. The source also added that Walker's brother Cody can be filmed "from behind and at a distance" and that they can just put the late actor's face using computer effects if they need to.

The producers of the "Fast and the Furious 7" could really try several ways to complete the movie after the death of one of its original lead characters. Re-writing the script is another option, but it is going to be very tedious.

Walker's death is surprising shocking, not only to his family, friends, and co-actors, but also to his fans as well, and they would want to have a nice script written for his death in the upcoming movie. Hopefully, the producers will find ways to make sure that Paul Walker is remembered. Whether the producers decide to hire Cody, it is certain that the movie will be completed in time for its release in 2014.
