Paul Walker Wanted To Quit Hollywood To Spend Time With His Teenage Daughter
It has been close to one year that Hollywood actor Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident but his family is still coping up with his sudden and untimely loss. His father Paul Walker senior made a shocking revelation to Daily Mail that the late action star was planning to quit Hollywood and his love for fast cars to spend more time with his teenage daughter Meadow Walker.
"Paul was planning on taking a break from starring in movies, and stepping away from Hollywood to spend more time with Meadow," revealed his teary-eyed father to Daily Mail. His father further added that Paul was very proud of his "incredibly intelligent and beautiful" daughter Meadow and wanted to spend more time with her as she grew up.
Walker's father also revealed that his son preferred to live a "modest" life and was not very fond of fame and popularity. The late actor wanted to explore his love of ocean life and ditch his habit of driving fast cars too, revealed his father to the website.
However, before Paul could make this wish turn into a reality, he died of a tragic car crash when his Porsche Carrera GT driven by business partner and friend Roger Rodas crashed into a tree in Santa Clarita on November 30, 2013. Rodas and Walker died on the spot.
Paul's father, his mother Cheryl, his ex-wife Rebecca Soteros and Meadow have still not recovered from the grief as dealing with it is "an ongoing process," reveals Paul's father. He described the "Fast and the Furious" actor as a "great man first and foremost" who is hard to be forgotten by anyone.
Paul Walker's dad then became emotional and revealed that he still finds it hard to believe that his son is not there anymore to hug him. He wished he could see his face as he misses him "much more now," added the grieving father.
Meanwhile, Universal Pictures has announced that the "Fast and Furious 7" is scheduled to be released in April 2015. The franchise is planning to release "at least three more" series of the movie.
