Since the sudden demise of "Fast and the Furious" star Paul Walker, there have been various speculations regarding "Fast And Furious 7" release date. On Monday, Vin Diesel finally announced that the film would be released in April 2015.

The actor posted his picture with late actor Paul Walker on Facebook and wrote, "There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared in the film we were now completing, the magic captured and in just how far we've come." He further added that the film will be out on April 10 2015, with a heartwarming note, "He'd want you to know first" to his 58 million Facebook fans."

The filming of seventh franchise of "Fast and the Furious" was suspended after Walker's death in November. Walker played the character of Brian o' Conner in the film and was suppose to start working on the film after Thanksgiving. However, he passed away in a car crash on Nov 29. The actor's character in the film is of a criminal turned policemen.

Originally, the film was supposed to hit theaters on July 11, 2014 and most of the Paul Walker's scenes were completed. Apparently, now the film script is in the process of rewriting and it is Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker who may finish the film.

According to a source to Dailymail.com "They (the makers of the film) soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that's when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody. They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it's because he wants to honor his brother's memory. There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving."

Cody is 25-years old and is a stuntman by profession. We hope he is able to do justice to Walker's immensely popular character and to the film.
