Paul Walker's Father Says Roger Rodas' Family Owns $1.8 Million Worth Of Car Collection That Belonged To His Son
Paul Walker III has claimed that Roger Rodas' family owns the exotic car collection that was once owned by his son, Paul Walker. The value of the collection is around 1.8 million. Paul Walker Sr. has sued Rodas' estate and is reportedly demanding the return of the automobiles. If not the collection, he wants the money.
The "Fast & Furious" star's father is handling the matters related to his son's property and has demanded, "proportionate share of any sales proceed derived from the sale of such vehicles," according to People. The legal documents submitted by Paul Walker III say "the cars were all fully or partially owned by Paul," reported TMZ. For those who are not aware, late actor Paul Walker and Rodas were the joint owners of a racing car shop called "Ever Evolving." Both of them died on Nov. 30 while returning from a charity event. Rodas was driving a Porsche Carrera GT when he and Paul met with an accident. Their car hit an electric pole and burst into flames. They reportedly succumbed to the fire injuries.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Meadow. Earlier this month Paul Walker III said that the 16-year-old has been busy and is trying to cope up with her father's death. "She's doing - I hear from the grapevine - very good in school. I think she's just a little bit shy around me, grandpa. I think time is on my side and things will get better," he said to E Online. Paul senior also said that he feels his son's presence every day.
Meanwhile, Paul Walker's last film "Fast & Furious 7" is all set to release next year. The actor had completed most of his scenes before his tragic death. His younger brothers Cody and Caleb Walker have completed his remaining scenes. James Wan has directed the film. He has previously directed films like "The Conjuring" and "Saw." The film will pick up from where "Fast & Furious 6" left off. The other star cast of the film includes Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodrigues, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ludacris, Kurt Rusell, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and others.
