After first three weeks of high-level basketball action, the PBA Governors' Cup is shaping up to be a very competitive tournament with all teams winning at least a game and suffering at least one setback in their record.

Petron Boosters (4-1) and Barako Bulls (3-1) emerged as the early leaders, but Commissioner's Cup champion Alaska is starting to heat up, shaking off their opening game blues to win their last two games.

On Tuesday, Petron and Barako Bulls will fight for the solo leadership at 5:15 pm, while Alaska takes on the Meralco Bolts in the main event at 7:30 pm.

The Boosters are expected to lean on Elijah Milsap, who has been super dominant on both ends of the floor. Petron will also feature a formidable core of All-Star players such as Marcio Lassiter, Junmar Fajardo, Chris Lutz and Arwind Santos in the games.

On the other hand, the Bulls will lean on PBA Player of the Week Eman Monfort, who averaged 17.0 points, 3.25 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game so far in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Alaska will be fielding super import Wendell McKines and super rookie Calvin Abueva against the Bolts. McKines recently dropped 27 points in a 102-99 win against Barangay Ginebra, while Abueva continued to be a menace on the boards for the opposing teams.

On Wednesday, San Miguel Coffee will try to get back to their winning ways as they play Global Port Batang Pier at 5:15 pm while Barangay Ginebra battles Air 21 Express at 7:30 pm.
