Peaches Geldof's post-mortem is set to happen on Wednesday at a hospital in Kent. According to Guardian, a home office pathologist will conduct the post-mortem examination to ascertain the true cause of death which the police are treating as "non-suspicious sudden death."

Dr. Peter Graham Jerreat will do the post-mortem of 25-year-old Peaches Geldof at Darent Valley hospital in Dartford. Peaches, daughter of campaigner Bob Geldof, was found dead at her home on Monday afternoon in Wrotham.

"Officers are working to establish the circumstances and will be compiling a report of their findings for the coroner," said a police spokesperson.

Kent Police did not reveal details if the death was caused due to drug overdose. They also did not divulge any details if it was a suicide. Peaches Geldof was married to Thomas Cohen (musician) and they had two sons named Astala (2) and Phaedra (11 month old).

Peaches' younger sister, Fifi Geldof paid tribute to her on Instagram. She posted a picture of two sister pulling faces when they were young. "My beautiful baby sister ... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x," Gigi captioned the photo.

Irish President Michael D Higgins paid tribute to the fallen writer, model and journalist.

"This is such a difficult cross to bear for any family and all of our thoughts are with Peaches' family and friends at this time. Sabina and I were due to meet Bob Geldof while on the state visit and we are thinking of him at this time of immense loss," said President Michael.

Bob Geldof issued a public statement on Monday night which was signed by Bob, Fifi, Pixie, Jeanne and Tiger Geldof. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," read the statement.

"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

The statement also mentioned that the family loved her and will continue to cherish her forever.
