Ryan Murphy, the executive producer of Glee, told the American Horror Show on Thursday that most of the scenes in the tribute were filmed in one shot since the crew and cast found it very tough to do that episode.

"What you will see in the episode is what really happened ... These performance that you'll see, almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance, because the actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it," Murphy said.

He added, "I've never seen a crew that you can't continue shooting because they've left the room sobbing. It was very hard."

Cory, 31, was founded dead on July 13, 2013, in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, due to overdose of drugs and alcohol.
