Fans, patiently, waited nine years for A Perfect Circle to make a comeback in the scene. And, Maynard and company are back with a new song "By and Down." A Perfect Circle are set to release a 13-track greatest hits compilation titled "Three Sixty" on Nov. 19. Fans can stream and listen "By and Down" via Spin.com (Click on the link below).

The studio version of "By and Down" is soulful and rekindles the memories of discovering and listening to Maynard or A Perfect Circle's songs from the past. The song opens with chimes and piano and Howerdel enters with his ambient guitar work. Hearing Maynard sing a new tune with fresh words after nine years is cathartic.

The five-and-a-half-minute song slowly builds over you, a clear indication of what fans can expect when "Three Sixty" comes out.

After the limited-edition live CD/DVD box set, "Live: Featuring Stone and Echo" sold out of all 2,500 copies, A Perfect Circle have made the decision to release the audio as well as video ingredients in digital format. The set will become available online from Nov. 26.

The "Stone and Echo" DVD has a full-length concert of the band's performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Aug. 2011. The audio companion set of "Stone and Echo" that would include a live performance of "By and Down" as well three other live albums - "Mer de Noms Live," "Thirteenth Step Live," and "eMOTIVe Live" - which has a full-album performance from 2010.

So far, A Perfect Circle have only released three full-length albums, but the fan base has been growing ever since the band released its debut with "Mer de Noms" in 2000. Soon, "Thirteenth Step" and "eMOTIVe" followed. In 2005, the band went on a hiatus.
