'Person Of Interest' Season 4 Recap: Episode 6 'Pretenders' Aired On Oct. 28, 2014, The 'POI' Team Protects A Fake Detective Involved In A Gang War [WATCH VIDEOS]

"Person of Interest" starring Michael Emerson as Harold Finch, Jim Caviezel as John Reese, Sarah Shahi as Sameen Shaw, Kevin Chapman as Fusco and Amy Acker as Root aired "Pretenders" (Season 4, episode 6) on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014. It was about helping the new "POI" named Walter Dang (Erik Jensen) who was pretending to be a detective. "Person of Interest" Season 4, episode 6 "Pretenders" was written by Ashley Gable and directed by Stephen Surjik. Here's what happened in "Pretenders." Walter Dang, an ordinary office worker at an insurance company, decided to impersonate a detective. Unfortunately, this put him in grave danger when he accidentally discovered a conspiracy going on. It involved Elias (Enrico Colantoni) and his enemies who are in a gang war. The "POI" team particulary, Reese, Fusco and Shaw had to step in and help him get out of the mess that he got himself into.

It was revealed that Walter pretended to be a detective to find out who killed Abel. However, he unknowingly smuggled some H.E (Barrett Firearms Manufacturing) weapons to a gang in New York. That's why his life was in danger.

As for Finch, he embarked on a different path that led to Hong Kong. The trip there was part of his job as a professor, which is his cover identity. He had to present a paper there. That's why he asked Shaw to work with Reese regarding Walter and to watch over bear. However, Finch's passport and a friend's laptop got stolen. Thankfully, Finch didn't get hurt because he was the one who orchestrated the whole robbery to tap into the laptop.

It was also shown how Elias helped the "POI" gang during a gunfight. Plus, Elias had a conversation with Mini, The Brotherhood boss. It was about the smuggled guns and a possible war between the two groups.
