‘Persona 5’ Cooperation, Stealth And All-Out Attack Modes Plus New Gameplay Elements Including Traps And Platforming

Popular console game “Persona 5” is expected to be released this year for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. New in-game modes such as Cooperation and Sneak have been hinted as new features of the game while old ones such as All-Out Attack will return for players to enjoy.

‘Persona 5’ New In-Game Modes Coming Very Soon

“Persona 5” has new in-game modes according to reports from Crossmap along with older modes found in previous game titles. So far, there are two new modes to be added in the game which are Cooperation and Sneak to enhance gameplay experience.

1. Cooperation mode is a system similar to the Social Links applied in “Persona 3” and “Persona 4.” It enables the player to build relationship with non-playable characters around the city and gain benefits for various battles.

2. Sneak mode gives stealth to the player which can be used to avoid new elements in the game when venturing dungeons.

3. All-Out Attack is an old mode available since “Persona 3” that enables combined attack of the party whenever has been knocked down. It is expected to return on the upcoming game title.

Since there are new modes in “Persona 5,” players will have to deal with real-time gameplay including platforming and traps according to details from Megamitensei Wikia page. Playable characters can now use both melee and ranged weapons as seen in the 2015 trailer. Here are the characters appearing on the upcoming game title:

1. The Phantom is the main protagonist who wears a bird mask, wields knives and pistols and acts as a gentlemanly thief.

2. Ryuji Sakamoto who joins the protagonist in his heists. Ryuji wears a skull mask and wields shotguns and bludgeoning weapons.

3. Anne Takamaki is a blonde girl homeroom classmate of the protagonist who also joins his heists. She wears a cat mask and wields whips and machine guns.

4. Morgana is a shapeshifter resembling a cat-like creature who meets the protagonist at the beginning of the game then joins him in his heists, wielding swords and slingshots. She plays an important role in the game because of her connection to the Seven Deadly Sins.

5. Igor and Twin Assistants indicate the return of the Velvet Room.

6. Owner of the military shop - Untouchable - named Iwai Munehisa and owner of the Takemi Medical Clinic, Tae Takemi.

“Persona 5” official trailer is now available at the game’s website with expected game release this year. An American release of the game was confirmed in February 25 last year with estimated release in 2015.
