IN PHOTOS: Robert Pattinson Turns 27! Top Moments Kristen Stewart and the Birthday Boy Have Through the Years [SLIDESHOW]

Nothing has prepared Hollywood as the stars were born in Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when they became the new faces of the entertainment industry through one of most popular and box-office hits in film - - the Twilight series.

The couple met in 2007 when both auditioned for what would be Hollywood’s most controversial, most lucrative and highly talked about film this generation. The roles of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) have made them the perfect love team in Hollywood, even regarded as the iconic couple, perfect to portray the roles no one else could have embodied better than any of the two combined.

Robert was on his way back to London after failing to impress agents and establishments with his interest and talents in music- -the one that he had flew in to Los Angeles for in 2007. Carrying his guitar, Robert embarked on a journey to L.A. in hopes to jumpstart his career in music. But no one seemed to care of what his hands could do with guitars and piano.

But his mystic, silence and captivating looks have earned him more than what any upcoming actor would die for when he nabbed the Edward Cullen role. Landing the most important role that made his career in Hollywood, then came Bella - -err, Kristen.

Robert and Kristen kissed the first time they met. This was the call of the audition piece they had at hand. It was August 2007 when their chemistry was first tested and the first touch had resonated to their millions of Tween fans before it hit both of them, realising they too, love the touches and the kisses.

It was in 2008 when Kristen gave a hint in an interview with Vanity Fair that they were then “seeing each other not Edward and Bella,” that they were Robert and Kristen and Robsten was born, making a life of its own. Just three words brought happiness to millions of solid fans: “my English boyfriend.” Robert, for his part, admitted in a television show, without saying much, just “Thank you,” when the host then congratulated “him and his girlfriend for the success of their film.”

Robsten was born and it breathed a life of its own and continues to give life and hope for Twi-loving people. An unwelcome summer romance in 2012 almost ruined Robsten Romance, but love prevail and trust and faith have KEPT LOVE ALIVE.
