January 26 2012-The 63rd Republic Day was celebrated in India. India is a country known for its diversity, colour and vibrant and there are billions of people with so many languages,religions,customs and traditions.

The 63rd Republic Day was celebrated with a grand pageant featuring India's military power and colorful culture. More than 25,000 policemen and paramilitary forces were on guard of the streets of New Delhi.

It is a day to remember when India became an independent republic.

The President, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the Chief Guest of Republic Day the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra and the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh were present during the 63rd Republic day celebrations in New Delhi.
