The Monte-Carlo's International Circus Festival will be celebrated from January 19th to 29th, 2012 anthe event is expected to be filled with many moments of fun and festivities!

It's is only the time of the year that people get to see Princess Stephanie's three children attending a "Royal Duty". With that said, here is a brief history of this wonderful event.

Back in 1974 the reigning Prince Rainier started this colorful event to celebrate his love for circus. The first Festival was celebrated under the big top of the French circus Bouglione.It has the most respected prize in the world of the circus, called the "Golden Clown" (Clown d'Or) award.

Excitement, Fun, and Enchantment are all present in The Monte-Carlo's International Circus Festival!

18 January to 8 February 2012: "Les animaux font leur cirque" at the Oceanographic museum

20 to 26 January 2012: "Cinquin"Aubusson tapestry at Théâtre Princesse Grace

20-21 January 2012: Exhibition dedicated to the circus material at Riviera Marriott hotel de Cap d'Ail,

21st January:Enjoy watching 4 elephants and 20 ponies together in one ring, Spanish clowns, breath-taking stunts with flying motorbikes

The Magic Continues:

4th and 5th, 2012 February : "New Generation", a new competition for selected young circus performers. H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie together with her eldest daughter, Pauline, will be president of the jury. The Clowns, acrobats, tightrope-walkers, magicians and circus animals will be competing for the "Junior d'Or", "Junior d'Argent" and "Junior de Bronze".
