Two people who allegedly opened fire at the Inland Regional Centre in San Bernardino, California, a developmental disability facility, on Wednesday morning local time have been killed in a shoot-out with local authorities.

A third suspect has been detained. It is unconfirmed if this person was involved in the mass shooting, which killed 14 and wounded 17.

“[The gunmen] were dressed in a way that indicated they were prepared,” County Chief Jarrod Burguan said. “They came in [to the centre] with a purpose, they came in with an intent.”
