As Pink performed for her fans in Perth, bodies and not glasses, were raised as acrobatics stunts to the beat of pop hits kept the audience entertained on Tuesday night.

The concert at the Perth Arena kicked off the pop star's The Truth About Love tour which is a 46-show Australian tour. She was last seen performing for her Aussie fans during her Funhouse tour in 2009.

Pink has a huge following in Australia, and as if the successful concert wasn't enough to show her appreciation for the love and support, she even paired the action with words via Twitter.

Pink is dynamic and undeniably talented live performer. Even just for about two hours, she can give her fans more than their money's worth.

The venue was set for a rockin' pop performance. The elaborate stage, doors, staircases, catwalk were set up and video screens and bright lights were likewise installed as noted by the AAP. Pink wore an embellished black crop top paired with pants and boots. She also donned a leotard paired with glittery coat and boots during the show. All the elements complemented the singer's energetic renditions of her familiar hits.

Besides her musical talent, people like her because she is as real as it gets. Pink does not hesitate to make fun of herself.

"I want to see the worst dancing I've ever seen in my entire life," she told the crowd before leading them to move to the groove.

She performed songs like the Try, Sober, The Great Escape, There You Go, Walk of Shame, You're Just Like A Pill and Make Me Sick, among others.

She talked to her fans and shared personal stories particularly about her and Carey Hart's daughter, Willow Sage Hart.

Aside from displaying circus-like stunts, she also shared another musical talent by playing the piano.

After performing her song, Trouble, she said, "Thank you for singing with me - it makes me happy in my heart."

Audience participation, however, was not confined to just singing with their idol. Tim Tams, teddy bears and a Barbie doll were similarly thrown on stage. Pink also gave an audience member a hug after reading the girl's letter to her idol.

She ended the show to the tune of So What and literally reached out to her fans, thanks to the harness that brought her to the far end of the stage.

Aside from the host who wore a pink sequin and white suit number, Aussie brothers Isaac and Thorald Koren of the trio The Kin and percussionist Shakerleg also entertained the fans at Pink's concert.

She will perform at the same venue on June 26, 28 and 29, according to the Perth Arena's Web site. Pink's Aussie fans outside Perth can also see her perform live in July (Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Syney) and August (Sydney and Melbourne), based on the schedule displayed on the site dedicated for her tour update.
