Pink in Sydney: Vouched for Tony Abbott, Proposes for Lesbian Couple and Sport Back her “Chubby Punk Rock Days”
Pink is definitely enjoying her stay in Sydney for her The Truth About Love Sydney concert as proven by her Tuesday tweet.
"Sydney- you all were exceptional tonight."
Pink seemed really involved in Sydney as she expressed even her "bet" on politics over Kevin Rudd, Tony Abbott and even Julia Gillard.
In an interview with the radio Station Nova, Pink said that Opposition leader Mr Abbott will get her vote if ever. She even clarified that she was saying the correct name.
"Kevin is Rudd right? Yeah, Tony. All of a sudden I'm not going to be allowed back in the country. My touring days are over," Pink said jokingly.
Pink did not elaborate on why she chose Mr Abbot but she hinted that she has a 'more' favourite personality if only given the chance.
"Can you get Julia back in?" Pink asked the host of the show.
But the highlight of Pink's stay in Sydney was her agreeing to an audience to propose on behalf of her girlfriend.
Pink was performing her acoustic set for her The Truth About Love when she stopped in the middle, leaned into the crowd at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and called for the girlfriend.
"Where is she? Hey Courtney - will you marry Shirley?"
Later in her tweet, with obvious excitement, she shared what happened to her Twitter followers.
"Let's see ... Tonight I proposed for someone in the audience and she said yes ... And then I sent a woman into labor! Great night! Sydney."
Fans still wait for report about the woman whom she helped into labor.
Pink seemed really comfortable in her stay in Sydney as she was seen sporting back her "dark punk rock chubby days", The Telegraph reported. She strolled at the Park Hyatt balcony wearing flanno shirt, wool beanie and shorts.
"I was pretty chubby in my 20's ... my dark punk rock chubby days," Pink said.
She also shared that her relationship with husband Carey Hart was on the chaotic side but was working well for them.
"He's amazing. I wanna kill him but I like him a lot."
She brought her daughter Willow along with her and shared that establishing a routine made each travel with Willow a lot easier.
"I think a routine is easier, when everyone knows what to expect. I try to create as much routine as much as possible, I make sure no matter where we are that every day is the same, she's got her same toys... when we walk into the venue she wants her tea-set and her strawberries."
