Pink Tops ARIA End Of Album Chart; Katy Perry, Lorde Also Winners In Australia
Australians really love Pink. The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has released the most popular albums for Aussie music buyers for 2013, and the American songstress has topped the chart for a second year in a row.
Pink’s “The Truth About Love” was named the most popular album for 2012. A year later, it’s still at the top of the ARIA End of Year Albums Chart, making Pink the first artist the title. She also has had an album placed either at number one or two in the ARIA End of Year Albums Chart for the past six of the last seven years of the ARIA end of album charts.
2013 also saw Pink dominating the concert scene in Melbourne with her “The Truth About Love Tour: Love in Melbourne,” breaking her previous record for most concerts in an Australian city.
