Pippa Middleton and boyfriend Nico Jackson break-up, 'They were rarely together'
The year 2015 can easily be called the year of celebrity break-ups. Kate Middleton's little sister Pippa Middleton has broken-up with her longtime boyfriend, Swiss banker Nico Jackson.
“It was mostly due to geographical issues,” a source close to the couple told Us Weekly, thus confirming the news. “They were rarely together since his move [to Switzerland] and it just caused too much strain on their relationship. They still love and respect each other,” the source added.
The couple were together for the past three years and were last spotted on a dinner date in London in September, when they showed off a plenty of PDA. Middleton, 32, and Jackson, 37, were rumoured to get engaged in 2013 but the couple never confirmed the news.
The trouble in their love life started after Jackson moved to Geneva and the couple found it hard to maintain the long distance relationship. "Long-distance didn't work, especially with how busy Pippa was," a source told E! News. "A lot of their problems stemmed from the fact she was always busy working—as was he—and they never had time for one another."
The website also adds that Pippa is “fiercely ambitious” and is not ready to tie the knot yet. She is currently focusing on a career to be a nutritionist, it added. However, there are chances that Pippa and Jackson will remain good friends in future despite their break-up as she is on good terms with all her ex-boyfriends.
She recently spent time with James Matthews, whom she dated back in 2012. Matthews even joined Pippa, her brother James, and their mother Carole on their recent family vacation in St. Barts. The two were also pictured entering a house in West London last week, as she walked his dog.
Pippa was also spotted with England cricketer and financier Alex Loudon, yet another of her ex-boyfriends.
