'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' spoilers: Picture of last scene filmed

Director Joachim Ronning has shared a picture of the last scene filmed for “Pirates of the Caribbean 5.” The movie has already wrapped filming and the picture was taken a year back, but it has only been shared online now.

The last scene for the movie was filmed on a beach with star cast member Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow). A large number of extras and other actors were also on the set dressed as pirates and other characters. The scene was filmed on the sandy beaches in Australia.

Previously, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer shared a picture of the cast and crew, celebrating the Talk Like a Pirate Day. The picture was from another beach set, which showed an old ship that had crashed into a hut.

Another picture shared on Facebook showed Depp tied to what appears to be a mast of a ship. “Captain Jack is back and we're not letting him go," the description in the picture joked.

“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” had to overcome multiple challenges to complete filming. The movie overshot its budget, there was the controversy of Depp’s wife not declaring her dogs at Australian customs, and later Depp got injured and had to travel back to the US.

Depp returned to Australia later and the movie was completed without any further interruptions. The actor also took the time to meet with his Aussie fans and interacted with them while remaining in character most of the time.

The main plot of the “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” revolves around Jack Sparrow’s old enemy Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) escaping from Devil’s Triangle. The new character intends to kill all the pirates on high seas. Jack will go on a quest to find the legendary Trident of Poseidon, which gives its wielder control over the sea.
