'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' star Johnny Depp looks very similar to this great grand father

A picture of “Pirated of the Caribbean 5” star Johnny Depp’s lookalike has surfaced online. The doppelganger livid many years ago and is the great grandfather of the person who uploaded the picture.

After a picture of Nicholas Cage lookalike surfaced online, a new picture shows a man who bears a striking resemblance to Depp, EOnline reports. A picture posted on Imgur by someone with the user name mwjstone14 shows how his/her great grandfather looks so much like the Hollywood actor.

“My Great Grandfather looks just like Johnny Depp,” the person who posted the picture boasted. The black and white picture shows a man in suit even wearing glasses that are similar to what Depp would wear. The great grandfather also sported a small mustache that further adds to the resemblance.

The picture of the great grandfather was taken when he was younger. Depp fans would probably see the resemblance to be quite striking if they see any of the actor’s movies from the 1990s, such as “Don Juan DeMarco.”

Depp, 52, is currently busy with “Pirates of the Caribbean 5,” in which he will be reprising his role as the infamous pirate captain Jack Sparrow. The producers are putting in the final touches of the movie and it is in the post production phase.

Some of the scenes of the movie were filmed here in Australia. The actor also managed to meet with the fans who turned up on the production set. Depp will next be seen in the movie “Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie.” Some of his other movies releasing in 2016 are “London Fields” and “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”

“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” is slated to be released on May 26, 2017 in Australia. The main plot of the movie revolves around Captain Jack seeking the legendary Trident of Poseidon, in order to take on his new enemy Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem).
