'Pirates of the Caribbean 5': What the first full trailer and posters reveal

A poster and the first full trailer of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” have been released online. The trailer teases the new villain Captain Salazar and the poster teases the infamous pirate Captain Jack Sparrow.

The trailer begins with a group of British soldiers who appear to be on a new quest. Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) and his ghostly pirate crew find the soldiers and kill them one by one. The villains leave just one man on the ship alive, to deliver a message.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is a wanted man, again. Salazar notices a poster carrying a reward for the infamous pirate. The message he wants delivered is simple – death is coming for Jack.

People trying to kill Jack Sparrow is not knew, the pirate has been in that situation before. But, what he is facing this time around are ghosts. According to the official synopsis of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5,” Salazar and the other ghosts have escaped from the Devil’s Triangle, and they have revenge on their mind.

Jack Sparrow isn’t the only one the ghosts want to kill; they will go after every pirate on the high seas. The only way to defeat Salazar and his crew is to find the Trident of Poseidon, which gives its wielder control over the seas.

Commenting on the trailer, many of the fans expressed their excitement about the movie. A common complaint by the fans was that Jack Sparrow was missing in the trailer.

Director Joachim Ronning shared a poster of Jack Sparrow on his Instagram page. The poster shows the character is a wanted man with a bounty on his head. In his post, the director thanked the fans for watching the trailer and sending their comments. He said that love the fans shared online reminded him why he loved movies, and the reason why he made “Pirates of the Caribbean 5”
