Rain and thunderstorm could not deter the spirit of the Latin artists at the 14th Latin Grammy Awards that kicked off Thursday night at the Las Vegas. The star studded event showcased some unforgettable performances from various artists including Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias and many more.

Carlos Vives won the "Song of the Year" award for "Volvi a Nacer" at ceremony while "give Me Everything Tonight" singer Pitbull bagged the "Best Urban Performance" award for his song "Echa Pa'lla" during the 14th Latin Grammy Awards.

Vives dedicated the award "to all the children of Latin America because they have made this song even bigger. And of course, to my country, Colombia." The talented singer also won the award for the Best tropical Fusion album and Best Tropical Song too.

"This is for all the Latinos in all the world," said an enthralled Pitbull as he displayed his golden gramophone statuette of Grammy Award.

Guatemalan-American singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno took home "Best New Artist" award.

"What an honor, my first Grammy!" Moreno said in Spanish. "This award - I want to dedicate it to all my people in Guatemala. For Guate!"

Other winners of the night included the Argentine -rock duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas won "Best Urban Song" for "Ula Ula," while Mala Rodriguez's Bruja won "Best Urban Album."

The show also had some stunning performances from 2012 Latin Grammy Award winners the Mexican duo Jesse & Joy, who performed on their hit number "Llorar" with Camila's Mario Domm.

Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin looked dapper in a greyish blue suit and sexy beard but was at his rocking best with artist Draco Rosa as the duo performed on "Mas Y Mas." The audience went crazy seeing him perform on stage. Singer Marc Anthony was awarded "Record of the Year" award for "Vivir Mi Vida" and the singer gave a wonderful performance at the same track.

The show was hosted by Mexican actress and singer Lucero. It was aired live on Univision in the United States. Check out Pibull's performance below.
