PlayStation 4 is getting a new game called ‘Inside My Radio’ from Seaven Studios

“Inside My Radio,” a fast-paced rhythm adventure game, is coming to the PlayStation 4 later this month. There’s an even better promo for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as the game’s launch will offer a 20 percent discount.

After “Ethan: Meteor Hunter,” a PS3 and PS Vita game, “Inside My Radio” is the second title from independent developer, Seaven Studio. The game is already available on Xbox One and Windows PC.

“Inside My Radio” is a rhythm-driven challenging game where actions and beats need to be synchronised. Seaven Studio’s co-founder and Producer Olivier Penot took to the PlayStation Blog that “Inside My Radio” is confirmed for a Jan. 19 release date with an additional discount.

Players will take on the role of a little green guy, Taek, who lives inside a broken boombox. To let the electro green guy escape from the challenging musical world, players will have to make the tiny guy slide and jump according to the beats. Players will have to make sure that they don’t take any action off the beat during their journey. To make it even more challenging, ‘Inside My Radio’ introduces new tracks with every level to change up the beat, quite literally.

“Inside My Radio” looks appealing to music lovers and those who prefer playing fast-paced games. As seen in the gameplay trailer, players get very limited time to think and decide the next moves. The trailer, seen below, showcases the nifty narrative gameplay where the character is a small LED light that struggles to survive in a challenging, musical environment.

The official website of “Inside My Radio” indicates that the players can also compose their own music in certain levels and areas of the game. Penot added that the players will also have the opportunity to play in a free-flowing form. It would be great for those who want to explore the game beyond the developer’s music mechanics by creating their own musical stuff in the game.

Interested PS4 players can buy the copy of “Inside My Radio” game on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus members will get an exclusive discount of 20 percent with their purchase. For all the PlayStation 4 owners, the game will be available for US$14.99 (approx. AU$22).
