The likes of “Far Cry 4,” “Battlefield 4,” “Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition,” “Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition,” “Knack,” “Rayman Legends” and “Trine 2: Complete Story” are up for grabs on the PS4. There are also some sweet cross-buy titles for those who want to get more bang for buck in games. These include “Rally Copters,” “Starwhal,” “Towerfall Ascension,” “Sportsfriends” and “Castlestorm.”
More than the games, PlayStation is also offering discounts on movies. Leading the pack are some date night flicks like “50 First Dates,” “Annie Hall,” “Before Midnight,” “Crazy Stupid Love,” “Dear John,” “Friends with Benefits” and “Just My Luck.” There’s also some flicks to watch with the ladies like “John Tucker Must Die,” “He’s Just Not That Into You” and even the complete series of “Friends.” The full list of movies can be seen in the link above.
NVIDIA is also having its own Valentine’s Day Sale for the entire Valentine’s weekend until Feb. 14. The company announced the sale over its official blog, stating that there are six popular games that are offered at great discounts. Two games are offered via the GeForce NOW store.
The first title is “The Park,” which puts players in the shoes of the mother who is looking for her lost son—in, of all places, an amusement park after hours. Apart from the suspense narrative, the creepy environment makes up for a very edgy tale. “The Park” is offered at a 33 percent discount, and it already comes with a digital download code that can be used to play the game on local PC.
Another title for GeForce NOW is “Submerged,” which features heroine Miku who is on a quest to find her younger brother. Similarly, purchasing the game will give a digital download code for local PC play, and it’s on sale at 25 percent off.
Players will need to have a GeForce NOW membership to get the games on discount and play them on SHIELD. To get the best deal, players can enjoy the first three months for free before having to pay the US$7.99 (approx. AU$11) per month afterwards.
More games are available via the Google Play Store with varied discounted prizes. The four games include adventure platformer “JuJu,” SHIELD exclusive “Dustoff Heli Rescue,” RPG title “This War of Mine,” which allows players a simulated glimpse of what happens to people who are trying to survive the effects of war and “Windward.” All of the details can be seen in the link above.
