‘Pokemon GO’ news & update: Legendaries to be released later; Major nest migration in progress
If latest reports are to be believed, Niantic is holding back on the “Pokemon GO” rare Legendaries for a special release date. Fans may have to wait till 2017 for the big update to be able to catch them. The Legendary Pokemon have been absent from the game since its launch in September. Now, it seems that Niantic may release them in spring of 2017 when players will again venture outside their homes.
Moreover a new “Pokemon GO” update has reportedly revealed major nest migration and game domination. This means spots that could have been relied upon for finding certain Pokemon may have now been changed. According to Express.co.uk, The Silph Road tracking site on Reddit has confirmed the migration and the site is being updated with new user information. Meanwhile, trainers are also looking forward to the player-to-player trading feature.
The type of Pokemon spawned from a PokeNest changes every few weeks. As per Heavy, the game’s 10th migration occurred on Thursday. The previous one occurred on Dec. 15. “Pokemon GO” Nests are real world places where a large number of same species Pokemon spawn. However, the type of Pokemon that spawn from a particular PokeNest changes every few weeks.
Niantic has confirmed what’s in store for “Pokemon GO” fans when the latest update hits the game. Players are already going crazy this month because of the “Pokemon GO” Christmas event. Now, there are rumblings that the developer is adding Holiday Boxes to the game. The Christmas event has already provided trainers a free single-use incubator everyday once they visit their first PokeStop. This facility will be available till Jan. 3, 2017.
From Dec. 25 to Dec. 30, Niantic will be releasing Special, Great, and Ultra Boxes that will include Ultra Balls, Great Balls, Incense and Incubators. From Dec. 30 to Jan. 3, 2017, “Pokemon GO” trainers will be offered to purchase Gold, Silver and Bronze boxes that will include Great Balls, PokeBalls, Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules and Incense.
