Game Freak's newest Pokemon title, "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," has featured a lot of new things. From new features to a whole lot of new Pokemons and Legendaries, it seems like more is indeed better for the ORAS iteration.

That may also extend to the number of events that it brings to fans. At the get-go, players from all over the world were able to enjoy the shiny Beldum event that was holding the Mega Stone for Mega Metagross' Mega Evolution, announced via the official "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" website. There was also the EON Ticket event, which is still ongoing in some areas.

For the holidays, those in Japan will enjoy an additional event, this time to obtain the Greninja. What makes this Greninja special, according to iDigital Times, is it will have the same attacks as the character in "Super Smash Bros 4."

The source has identified the ways by which players can obtain the Greninja in "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." Apart from living in Japan, players also need to own a copy of "Super Smash Bros 4." After that, as a Club Nintendo, they will need to register both their "Super Smash Bros 4" and either "Pokemon Omega Ruby" or "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" by Jan. 20. Players would have to get the download codes, which will only be possible once both games have been registered.

Still, there may be a slim chance that the Greninja will be seeing a Western release. Japan, Nintendo's home country, has already seen different events compared to other areas. One case in point: Serebii has announced that there will be a new Pokemon movie in 2015 that is supposedly scheduled for release in Japan come July 18, 2015. However, unlike the last movie, which was focussed on "Pokemon X and Y" and its special Pokemon Diancie, this one may include the Pokemons in ORAS.

The source has only gotten vague details about the movie, which is reportedly titled "Pokemon the movie XY 2015." The assumption is that this is just a handle movie name until it is changed to a more specific one when the release draws near. Given the leaked Pokemons that will be involved in the movie, it won't be a surprise if this turned out to be a movie for the "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire," which is a tradition for the franchise.

Serebii adds that there is even already a teaser trailer, which shows off the Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and the Shiny Mega Rayquaza in a battle until they are sucked into a portal. The odd thing is that Pikachu is in many of the portals. Given that portals in "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" are linked to legendaries, this movie may actually involve the revelation of more facts about these Legendary Pokemons.

For now, the most that fans can do is speculate on what the new movie will be about. Here's the teased trailer, for those who want to check it out.
