‘Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’ Mythical Arceus, Garchomp distribution start
August is finally here, and for players of “Pokemon Omega Ruby,” “Pokemon Alpha Sapphire,” “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” can look forward to a new event.
The Pokemon 20th celebration continues with Arceus, a Mythical Pokemon that will be available until Aug. 24 via a code from any local GameStop. The code will unlock Arceus for the four aforementioned Pokemon titles.
For Australia and New Zealand, players can get the code at EB Games. For the U.S., it will be available at GameStop.
According to the official Pokemon website, this is not the only thing that players can look forward to in August. In tandem with the Arceus month, The Pokemon Company is also making the special limited edition Arceus figures and plushies at various GameStop stores.
The plushie is an eight-inch crushed-velvet Arceus toy, while the two-inch Arceus figure will come with a Master Ball. Finally, there’s even a Pokemon TCG: Mythical Pokemon Collection—Arceus, which will have a couple of Arceus-themed items. These include an Arceus pin, an Arceus promo card and booster cards from the special Generations expansion. The TCG pack is also one way to expand the collection for Generations cards.
If this Arceus for August celebrations is not enough, Serebii has also spotted a Garchomp distribution. Slated for the “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,” the Garchomp is up for grabs for players who joined the Sinnoh Classic Battle Competition.
As per the source, this is an entry gift that can now be claimed by all qualifying players. The Garchomp can be redeemed until Sept. 29.
The source also spotted the free demo for “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.” It seems that Nintendo has already made it available for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The demo is the same as the original game, and will be available for play until Sept. 30.
