‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ dreadful monsters & concept art surprises; Ash Pikachu’ special Z-Move devastates
The Pokemon Company and Game Freak have released the Official Alola Region Collector’s Edition Pokedex. Now, concept art for “Pokemon Sun and Moon” has also surfaced online.
The images, first shared on Reddit, show two Legendary Pokemon, game’s starters and more. One can take a look at the critters in their full glory on My Nintendo News. Also, a new book with a set of concept art shows some of the weirdest Pokemon that are also the series’ creepiest. Some of them are so creepy that they cannot be even considered proper Pokemon. The Ultra Beasts can’t be caught using general tactics and they occupy a very weird space in the Pokemon universe. Unlike other Legendaries, not all of them are one-of-a-kind rarity.
The artwork for all eight “Pokemon Sun and Moon” beasts is included in the Official Alola Region Collector’s Edition Pokedex. The concept art for Ultra Beats and Necrozma can be found on this Reddit thread. Nihilego is perhaps the least-threatening of Ultra Beasts but the artwork suggests otherwise. Then there is Buzzwole flexing its muscles and grabbing and squeezing other Pokemon. According to Polygon, Guzzlord is the creepiest of all and may remain so for a long time. It has its arms coming out of its mouth.
Going by the looks of Guzzlord, it can easily consume other large beasts and people. One of the images shows Mimikyu, the Pikachu-faced goblin, feeling threatened by the dreadful monster. Meanwhile, it has also been announced that Ash’s Pikachu will be coming to the game as a special downloadable character. It will don Ash’s popular baseball caps and will also be using a special Z-Move. This 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt attack can devastate an opponent before it even realises what’s happening. A video of the attack has been shared below.
The new Pokemon movie is releasing in Japan in April, and Ash’s Pikachu will also be made available during that time to coincide with the anime’s 20th anniversary. Various versions of Ash Pikachu will be available in various levels and they will have different moves. At level 1, the original hat Pikachu will be available and it will use attacks such as Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Thunder and Agility. Similarly, the latest Alola cap Pikachu will be show itself in level 20. It will have attacks such as Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail and Electro Ball.
Release of “Pokemon Sun and Moon” Ash Pikachu has not been announced for any other country except Japan. However, players believe the release date is near.
