'Pokemon Sun and Moon' final trailer shows starter Pokemon Z-moves, Ultra Beasts, Alolan Diglett and Dugtrio
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" has revealed new information on its final trailer before the game hits the market on Nov. 18. The trailer shows three Z-Moves for the starter Pokemon including Decidueye, Incineroar and Primarina. Decidueye's Z-Move is Arrow Raid, while Incineroar's Z-Move is Malicious Moonsault. Primarina will have Oceanic as its Z-Move.
In the trailer, it shows that the game has two new Ultra Beasts called UB-03 Lighting and UB-05 Glutton. The trailer does not give the concrete mechanics surrounding Ultra Beasts, but the UB-03 Lighting seems to use an electric-type attack while the UB-05 Glutton appears to use a Steel-type attack. The UB-05 Glutton has an astounding appetite that may devour objects, ground, rivers and seas.
The Ultra Beasts are expected to roam the Alolan region posing threat to humans and Pokemon. It is still unclear if players could catch them. The Pokemon Company also confirmed in the trailer that Alolan Diglett and Alolan Dugtrio exist. The Alolan Dugtrio has the new ability called Tangled Hair that lowers the speed of any Pokemon using a direct contact move.
Alolan Diglett live near volcanic areas. The hairlike metallic whiskers that grow from the top of their head serve as a survival mechanism in the volcanic environment. The whiskers help them to feel the surrounding areas without entirely exposing their entire face above the ground. The Alolan Dugtrio is the Alolan Diglett evolved form. It also has whiskers but it grows at a very slow rate. It is treated with great importance in the Alolan region as it is revered as an incarnation of the god of land. It is prohibited to removed the whiskers.
The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo has been downloaded over 3.5 million times. The game will launch on 3Ds on Nov. 18 in Japan, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
