‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Official Guide already up for preorder, Mystery Gift to end distribution this week
The Pokemon Company has promised that more news about “Pokemon Sun and Moon” will be given on June 2. To tide fans over the waiting period, there is a new standard guide that can already be preordered via Amazon.
Spotted by Nintendo Everything, the “Pokemon Sun and Moon” guide will be launched alongside the game in November. There are two types of the guide. There is a standard edition and a collector’s edition.
Basically, the guide is a 350-page manual that prepares trainers for the world of “Pokemon Sun and Moon.” It will contain a detailed walkthrough of “Pokemon Sun and Moon,” the locations of the Pokemon, a list of moves and items and how to obtain them, some tips for the communication features and a pullout map.
The collector’s edition is different in that it is a hardcover version and supposed bonus content, though this has not yet been detailed. The standard guide costs US$30 (approx. AU$41), while the collector’s edition is a little pricier at US$40 (approx. AU$55).
Fans who are still enjoying “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” can look forward to a distribution event until the middle of the week. Trusted Pokemon source Serebii had confirmed that The Pokemon Company is distributing a special gift for North American fans.
The Legendary Pokemon Yveltal can now be obtained via the Nintendo Network. The Shiny Legendary will only be distributed in this manner, so best to get it now, especially for completionists.
“Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” players will need to log in to the game and go to the Mystery Gift section. They need to Receive the Gift and choose Get Via Internet. This has to be done before the May 26 deadline to ensure that the player gets the Legendary Shiny Pokemon.
For those in Australia and New Zealand, the Darkrai Distribution is also ongoing. This is a global event, and one that brings a special Level 100 Darkrai to the game. This event is different in that it requires code from stores. In Australia and New Zealand, the codes can be obtained via EB Games until May 24. The codes can then be redeemed anytime until Aug. 31.
