'Poldark' season 3 episode 7 preview: Armitage and Demelza connection; Politics and more
New complications will emerge in “Poldark” season 3 episode 7. A preview video of next episode teases a connection between Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Hugh Armitage (Josh Whitehouse). Meanwhile, the popularity of Ross (Aidan Turner) forces him to consider a high political office. The following article contains spoilers based on the teaser.
There was spark in Armitage’s eyes when he first met Ross’ wife. Now, the rich and powerful character will show his affection towards Demelza at a social gathering, an act that will not go unnoticed.
With a seat in parliament vacant and Aunt Agatha’s (Caroline Blakiston) 100th birthday coming, there are a lot of opportunities for the influential people in town to meet and discuss the future. One name that has been doing the rounds in these circles is that of Ross. The young miner, on the other hand, has shown no interest in politics so far, but is always leading the front when it comes to helping the people.
Demelza is keen on seeing her husband elected to parliament. Dwight Enys (Luke Norris) and the others may agree. Ross has already seen the consequence of letting George (Jack Farthing) become magistrate. The Warleggan justice has always been partial to the rich and powerful, irrespective of the merits of the case. The people in town are already on the edge due to famine, poverty and the consequence of the French Revolution, thus George is looking to be elected as an MP.
Aunt Agatha wants Ross to come to her 100th birthday. George doesn’t want his mortal enemy to set foot in his house, but Elizabeth (Heida Reed) is a little more understanding.
George will also discover a secret in “Poldark” season 3 episode 7. The preview video posted on YouTube teases Aunt Agatha telling George that his child may belong to another man.
