There's imminent danger in letting the San Antonio Spurs hang around. So the Portland Trail Blazers decided to blowout the defending West champions after halftime and take Game 4 with a 103-92 victory in the Western Conference Semifinals.

The Trail Blazers still trail the best-of-seven affair, 3-1 with Game 5 back in San Antonio on Wednesday when the Spurs try to close out the series.

Portland had a slim 50-48 at the half but turned it up after the break outscoring the Spurs 35-20 in the third quarter to open up the game. The Spurs never really challenged after that as Tony Parker scored only 3 points after finishing with 11 in the first half.

It was the duo of Damian Lillard (25 points and 5 assists) and LaMarcus Aldridge (19 points) who did the damage for Portland, which also got support from the all-around game of Nicolas Batum (14 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists). Robin Lopez added 9 points and 12 boards.

Off the bench, the Trail Blazers also got contributions from Will Barton (17 points) and Thomas Robinson (9 points).

Parker had 14 points to lead the Spurs and had little help elsewhere. Tim Duncan and Boris Diaw had 12 points apiece and Kawhi Leonard added 11.
