The Power 1000: London’s 2013 Top Most Influential People From Prince George, Kate Middleton to Harry Styles and More [PHOTOS]
Artists, designers, authors, entrepreneurs, members of the royal family and politicians are among the top prominent individuals who made it to the list of The Power 1000 released by the London Evening Standard. From the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton to her newly born son, Prince George; from Harry Styles to Cara Delevingne and Prime Minister David Cameron, are all included in London's most influential people list.
London’s “new resident” as the London Evening Standard calls him, Prince George topped The Power 1000 list. At eight weeks old, the newly born son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton has been named the most influential person of London.
The newspaper described the Royal baby as a “timely symbol” who has been a new “magnet for tourist attraction,” and after giving such delight to the Royal family and the whole world, his birth on July 22, 2013 has made him the youngest prominent and influential person.
Next to Prince George, One Direction crooner, Harry Styles makes another young influential person. The member of the English-Irish boy band has sneaked the top 20 list and landed between The Queen and Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury.
Another celebrity who made it to the surprising list in the Top 20 most influential people is Cara Delevingne. She may have been disappointed to miss out on a role in "Fifty Shades of Grey," but the young English model has ace up her sleeve after making it to the list. Sneaking in to top flight at No. 20, Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend has made a name for herself by appearing in various magazines and retail giants in the fashion industry.
Another surprise in The Power 1000 is tennis player, Andy Murray. The top ace has beat out other fellow players to make it top 20, after landing on No. 8 of the list.
Prince George may have topped the list of the most influential people, but his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are among the members of the royal family who are deemed powerful people of London. Kate Middleton beat out her husband at No. 7 while Prince William, with Prince Harry at No. 11.
National Theatre Artistic director, Sir Nicholas Hytner is the only remaining artist on top 20 at No. 15 and the list is comprised largely of politicians. London Mayor, Boris Johnson topped the politicians in The Power 1000 at No. 2 followed by Prime Minister David Cameron at No. 4. Other government officials in the list include Home Secretary, Theresa May (No. 6); Labour Leader Ed Milliband (No. 9) and Transport Commissioner, Sir Peter Hendy (No.10).
