This Is Pregnant Fla. Mom, 32, Dancing To Michael Jackson's ‘Thriller’ To Induce Labor
A pregnant mother from Gainesville, Fla. took to Facebook to share a video of herself dancing to Michael Jackson's hit song “Thriller.” Bonnie Northsea, 32, said in the video that someone told her the song would induce labour.
“I’ve always loved ‘Thriller,’ but I haven’t done the dance in 5 years,” Northsea told Yahoo Parenting. She added that after pulling up a YouTube instructional video, she did the dance and figured she would record it.
For Northsea, who also has a 3-year-old son, the video would be “something cute” to make her friends laugh on Facebook. She did not expect that it would go viral, having received more than 10,000 likes on Facebook after a week. It has also been shared more than 15,000 times.
Wearing a blue sports bra and leggings, Northsea nails the classic “Thriller” dance with her full-term belly. She said the viral video has been not only “so much fun.” It has also helped her take her mind off her husband’s diagnosis with testicular cancer in January.
“Here I am on my due date, 40 weeks, looking like a fool. I'm so awesome!” Northsea says in the video, which she also published on YouTube where it has been viewed more than 2 million times. Watch it here:
