Pregnant Kate Middleton Carrying Twin Baby Girls: Royal Couple Has Thought Of Two Names, Report Suggests
Buzz is that Kate Middleton could be expecting twins. On Sept. 8, 2014, Clarence House made the big announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting second baby almost a year after the birth of her first child Prince George. The news soon sparked up several kinds of speculations and rumours.
According to CelebDirtyLaundry, the rumours claim that Prince William and Kate Middleton maybe welcoming twin baby girls into their royal family next year. This is not the first time reports making such claims have emerged. However, the gossip news website speculates that "this time there may actually be some merit to" the news.
The report notes that even though Kate Middleton is only 10 weeks pregnant she was "spotted out and about with a baby bump." This happened when the royal couple went for a dinner date on Sept. 11 at Kings Head Pub in Great Bircham. According to the publication, the baby bump is only visible in 8-10 weeks of pregnancy if the woman is "expecting twins."
Furthermore, it is reported that the couple has thought of two names for their daughters. One of them would be called Elizabeth, in the honour of their Prince William's grandmother and Queen of England. As for the second daughter, she will be called Margaret, in the honour of Queen Elizabeth's late sister.
However, many websites suggest that these are just rumours swirling around given that Kate Middleton hasn't even entered second trimester. Inquistr notes that a test that can determine the sex of the child is usually performed around 18-20 weeks.
Meanwhile, several media outlets are trying to predict Kate Middleton's due date. It is said the Duchess is expected to deliver in spring 2015. Mirror.Co.UK reported that 16/1 odds suggest that the second royal baby may share his or her birthday with England's Queen on April 21.
In other news, Kate Middleton recently called off her trip to Malta due to extreme morning sickness- scientifically known as hypermesis gravidarum. It was supposed to be the Duchess' first solo trip. The trip was later undertaken by Prince William to mark the occasion of Malta's 50th Year of Independence.
