Pregnant Kate Middleton Feuding With Queen Elizabeth Over Prince George Treatment-- Reports
In the throes of her second pregnancy, which is said to be as difficult as the first, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton reportedly says Queen Elizabeth is not being grandmotherly to Prince George. Instead, the Queen is treating Kate's firstborn as nothing but a royal prop.
OK! Magazine reports an ongoing feud between the strict Queen Elizabeth and headstrong Duchess Kate Middleton. One of the reasons behind their feud, aside from the clashing of their views, is how the Queen reportedly treats Prince George. According to the magazine's source, the Duchess thinks that her "mum" or Queen Elizabeth treats her visits to the royal child like a palace duty. Moreover, Kate believes that the Queen treats Prince George as "a prop for appearances rather than her cute little grandson!" The source added that Kate wishes to see the Queen lighten up just a bit for her and for her grandchild.
The source also shared that since Kate started feeling better after her bouts of morning sickness, she has been having fun inviting her friends over at the Anmer Hall, which is the country home she currently shares with her husband, Prince William and barely 2-years-old, Prince George. The Queen is reportedly not happy about this and wishes that Kate would just stay over at the Kensington Palace. But because Kate held her ground and even reportedly said that she would not "bend over backward for the Queen," the two are embroiled in a tense feud more than ever. It has been reported that Kate and Prince William shelled out millions of pounds to have Anmer Hall refurbished. Allegedly, Kate's family, including her brother and sister, would be having their Christmas dinner here as well.
OK! Magazne's source also claims Kate Middleton is simply "overjoyed" that she is having another baby. Regarding the gender of the baby though, the source says Kate is not going to give out the gender of her child anytime soon as she wants it to be a surprise for the public. Just like Prince George's gender was a secret when he was still in his mother's belly.
