Pregnant Kate Middleton Gives Prince George A Swimming Lesson While Babymooning In Mustique
Pregnant Kate Middleton spent her babymoon in Mustique with Prince William and Prince George months before she will welcome her new bundle of joy. While celebrating her mother’s, Carole Middleton, 60th birthday, the Duchess of Cambridge bonded with her son and gave him a swimming lesson in a small island in the West Indies.
The two-week island retreat is the Duchess last trip before giving birth to her second child in April. The couple enjoyed some quality time together in a five-star Aurora Villa and stayed at a hilltop five-bedroom with a whopping tag price of $26,000 a week. The private estate is the perfect spot for the 18-month-old royal to practice swimming in the villa’s private pool.
The royal couple enjoyed their exclusive Caribbean retreat with the rest of the Middletons as William was seen relaxing with Pippa Middleton, 31 and James Middleton, 27. While her husband was snorkelling the crystal clear water, Kate was photographed strolling with baby George and nanny Maria Borallo.
Based on the report, the Duchess of Cambridge was wearing Lotty B’s loose-fitting dress with blue shells as she strolled around the beach. The pair jetted off to the small island on Jan. 22, to celebrate Carole’s birthday and to have their much needed vacation away from their royal responsibilities.
Carole celebrated her birthday at Basil’s Bar on Jan. 31 but not all who were invited got the chance to attend the exclusive party due to tight security. Notable absentees include James and Pippa’s other halves, TV presenter Donna Air and stockbroker Nico Jackson.
“The royals will return in the coming days, with William set to hit the books and continue with his studies for his air ambulance job,” according to PEOPLE. “He has taken and passed three quarters of the 14 exams in his bid for his commercial pilot's license.”
The pregnant Kate Middleton is expected to continue her public duties as she enters her third trimester. She is scheduled to visit Portsmouth next week while William is expected to start working as an ambulance pilot after his exams early summer.
