Kate Middleton is "The Most Stylish Woman of 2014", according to a poll. The poll was designed to list celebrities who impressed British citizens the most with their fashion sense.

The Scotsman, a poll sponsored by Feel Unique, crowned Kate Middleton the most stylish of them all for the year. The Duchess of Cambridge bested big fashionista names to be ranked "The Most Stylish Woman of 2014." Included in the list following Kate Middleton are Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Emma Watson.

Victoria Beckham is a fashion designer, while Emma Watson won the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards. For the Duchess to come out on the top is no small feat. Impressively, the fact that she's also pregnant did not work against her.

A spokeswoman for Feel Unique explained the outcome. "The nation fell in love with Kate Middleton as soon as her engagement to Prince William was announced. And she never fails to impress at any of her public appearances, so it's not at all surprising that she has been voted the most stylish woman of 2014." Aside from the mentioned British celebrities, four American celebrities also made the list: Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Aniston.

InStyle reports that Kate managed the difficult feat of keeping warm and looking fashionable at the same time on Dec. 25 as she attended to her royal Christmas duties. When the royal family, including the Queen and Prince William, but sans Prince George (who was left at their home in Anmer Hall), attended the Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church located at the Sandringham Estate, Kate wore a long tan-coloured, military-style tweed jacket. She completed the simple yet fashionable look with some winter accessories such as scarf, hat and gloves. Her second pregnancy did not put a dent on her style. InStyle even said she had the effortlessly stylish maternity look down pat.
