Kate Middleton who is currently carrying her second baby is suffering from severe morning sickness. It was reported that flat Cola could be an answer to Middleton's condition of Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

A Birmingham health expert has recently revealed that Cola can prove as a relief in Middleton's condition. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is a rare condition and very few women suffer from it. The ailment leads to severed dehydration and fatigue. The 32-year-old suffered from the same health condition when she was pregnant with Prince George.

The Duchess was admitted to hospital in her first pregnancy and it is expected that this time the morning sickness could get worse as it is speculated that she is pregnant with twin baby girls. Reportedly, in case of twins morning sickness aggravates.

"Though there is no cure for morning sickness and certainly not hyperemesis, there are steps that can be taken to try to settle the unpleasant symptoms. There are few sources of scientific evidence to support any remedies, but making sure fluid intake is maintained is a priority," Alison Edwards said at Birmingham City Universit according to Birminghammail.

In the wake of her morning sickness, Middleton had to cancel her Malta trip. Prince William stepped in for his wife for the 50th anniversary celebration of Malta's independence.

Edwards further said that just like flat Cola even ginger and arrowroot helps. Moreover, eating small portions of fat free meals and avoiding spicy food is a great way to keep the morning sickness at bay.

"If the symptoms become excessive then medical advice must be sought as there are medications that can reduce the sickness and nausea, these do need prescribing however," further said Edward.

The palace announced Middleton's pregnancy when she had to be pulled out from a social event due to morning sickness. Middleton is currently being taken cared by the doctors at Kensington palace. Her mother Carole Elizabeth Middleton is also staying by her side, according to the reports.
