After an unusual kick off to the Premier League season, Chelsea appears to be the only team to have started the season as expected. The usual giants of the Premier League are still trying to gain form after a busy transfer season. A Sunday night league match between Manchester City and Chelsea is exactly what the fans would have wanted.

Manchester City:

Manchester, however, has been defeated in its three consecutive games. Their most recent defeat has been the 1-0 shocker against Bayern Munich during the Champions League match last Sunday. The shocking defeat against Stokes will continuously hurt Manchester. However, the team can simply revel on the fact that they were competitive during the first halves of their previous matches. In the absence of Stevan Jovetic and Fernando Francisco Reges, fans won't be able to expect too much from Manchester's performance in Sunday's clash.

Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa have been witnessed to continuously prove their mettle. However, they can be up against their own club legend, Frank Lampard. Lampard, who is the record goal scorer for Chelsea is on-loan at Manchester. He will not be starting in the first team, but will make a late entry in the second half. On the other hand, Courtois still edges Peter Cech for the first team's goal keeper spot. Jose Mourinho's presence ensures that they have a fit squad. He aims to tire the opposition early on.
