'The Voice Australia' is now the biggest television show in the land of Down Under for 2012!

Nine Network is celebrating with the hit of the ratings of the premiere of their local version of The Voice. In Australia, the leading coaches include Nicole Kidman's hubby Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Seal.

During the first set of the blind auditions, they have already discovered talents as young as 19 years old who used to be a foster child by the name of Karise Eden. According to reports, 'The Voice Australia' garnered about 2.9 million viewers and was able to get the majority of the audience demographics.

The show became a hit even when considering that it launched during one of the most competitive television prime nights, fighting head on with other shows like 'Dancing With The Stars' and 'The Biggest Loser.'

With 'The Voice Australia,' Nine seemingly got the break they have long been waiting for, making up for the distant competition that the Seven Network has left them with for the past couple of years.

It was all due to the keen target of the show's executive producer, Julie Ward, to end up with competitive celebrity coaches such as the four mentioned above. The four sang Seal's hit entitled, 'Crazy,' for their opening number. Seal himself was surprised with the choice of song but the rest of the coaches loved it.

The pressure for the show just continues on as it moves on to find and discover new and bright talents straight from Australia.
