Opmantek Announces Acquisition Offer from FirstWave, Valued at $44M USD
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Opmantek Software, one of the world’s leading providers of automated network management software, today announced that it has received an acquisition offer from FirstWave Cloud Technology, a global cybersecurity company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:FCT). The all-scrip offer values Opmantek at approximately $62M AUD (roughly $44M USD) and will see Opmantek shareholders hold 42% of FirstWave’s issued share capital on completion.

The proposed acquisition by FirstWave Cloud Technology will enable the integration of Opmantek’s software into CyberCision, FirstWave’s world-first Open Security Management platform. CyberCision enables Service providers anywhere to deliver valuable, cutting-edge cyber security service to their customer base. The combination significantly expands the growth potential of both companies by providing truly global reach, new channels to market, an expanded product portfolio and significant operational, strategic and financial benefits.
