Pretty Little Liars Season 4: Review, News, and Spoilers
Pretty Little Liars Season 4 finale has been aired. The finale was Episode 12 of Season 4. Another instalment from the popular show has come to a close. But there is good news in store for fans, according to IMDB the next air date for the show is on Oct 22. The show has also been renewed for another season. Please read on for the review but fair warning for spoilers ahead.
For the uninitiated, the show is based on the books bearing the same title from Sara Shepard. There are a total of eight bestselling books in the book series. The show is about four best friends who are juniors at Rosewood Day. The friends are tormented by text messages from a mysterious person known as "A" who seems to know all their deepest secrets. The group had lost their best friend three years ago who had gone missing.
Season 4 began with the group opening a trunk belonging to detective Wilden. Those who were anxious to find what was in the truck were in for a surprise. There were no details of the mysterious "A" but a dead pig inside. The show becomes interesting with the death of Wilden the very next day.
The season was filled with high drama and anxious moments. The four girls - Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer were seen anxiously trying to uncover the mystery surrounding the disappearance of their friend - Alison. There were also some lighter moments as Aria kisses the martial arts instructor- Jake.
The mystery of "A" seems to be getting clearer with fingers now pointing at Ezra; he is the English teacher who is in a relationship with Aria. Ezra is seen entering the hideout of "A." But as anyone would expect it is still not abundantly clear as to who "A" is and just as viewers found a dead pig inside a much anticipated "Trunk of Doom" belonging to Wilden, this could also be a wild goose chase for people speculating the identity of "A."
Another interesting element to this season is the fact that Alison could be alive. There have been enough hints in this season to strongly suggest that she is alive. Were the hallucinations experienced by the girls actually Allison? The question is expected to keep the viewers hooked to the show.
The show so far has been a good entertainer according to the fans who cannot get enough of the unending mystery. The news of its renewal for another season should bring greater cheer to the fans. Pretty Little Liars are here, it seems, to stay and entertain.
